Fictional carrier and product.
Not met§4A · Truthful and not misleading
“No downside risk” is stated as fact in the headline. The fine print says the annuity may lose value and has surrender charges, which contradicts it rather than qualifying it.
Evidence: “Growth with no downside risk.” · “Surrender charges apply in the first 7 years. Not FDIC insured. May lose value.” — p. 1

From a piece and a rulebook to findings you can stand behind.
Choose a rulebook
Start from a built-in rulebook, or a copy adjusted to your firm's policy. Each requirement says what it asks, when it applies, and where the evidence is usually found.
Add the piece or the case file
An ad, a web page or a brochure on its own - or a full case file with the application, disclosures and notes, as PDFs with selectable text.
Review the findings
Start with what's not met. Every finding quotes the line it rests on, highlighted on the page, so you can agree, push back, or fix the piece before it goes out.
Not one model's opinion. A verdict on every requirement.
Asking a chatbot whether an ad is compliant gets you whatever it noticed this time. Check works through the rulebook one requirement at a time, and shows its work.
Every requirement gets a verdict
Not a list of whatever stood out. Each requirement in the rulebook is met, not met, not applicable - with the facts that decided it - or unclear, with what's missing.
Quotes that are really there
Every verdict quotes the material, and each quote is matched against the document. A finding whose quote can't be found goes to a person instead of being reported as fact.
A second look before a violation
For rules that forbid saying something, a finding stands only if a quoted line actually says it. Leaving something unsaid is never treated as saying it.
Your records, not guesses
When a rule depends on records the piece can't show - a prospectus, a rating report, an approval - Check doesn't fail the piece for it. It tells you exactly what to confirm.
The rulebooks.
A rulebook turns a regulation into requirements: what each one asks, when it applies, and what counts as met. Every built-in rulebook says what it was checked against. None of it is legal advice.

What to know before you start.
The limits, plainly.
- Check is a pre-check. It finds and explains issues; a person reviews the findings and signs off.
- Invite only, on the Team plan.
- Reviewing a piece on its own covers what the piece says. Requirements that need your records are listed as not checked, or as something to confirm.
- PDFs with selectable text. Scanned documents aren't supported yet.
- Not legal advice, and not a substitute for your compliance process.
