You asked
If Northwind keeps missing its uptime target, what can we do?
You can claim service credits of up to 10% of the monthly fees1, and you can terminate after any three months below 99.0% availability2. To leave at the end of the term instead, give notice 90 days before March 1, 20273.
3 claims, 3 sources, every one checkable.
1Schedule C — Service Levels, page 3
Service Credits in any month shall not exceed ten percent (10%) of the monthly fees.
2Master Services Agreement, page 27
If Availability falls below 99.0% in any three (3) months within a rolling twelve (12) month period, Customer may terminate this Agreement.
3Order Form, page 1
The Initial Term ends March 1, 2027 and renews unless either party gives ninety (90) days' written notice.

8.4 Service Credits. If Availability falls below the Service Level in any month, Customer shall receive the Service Credits set out in Schedule C.
8.5 Chronic Failure. If Availability falls below 99.0% in any three (3) months within a rolling twelve (12) month period, Customer may terminate this Agreement upon thirty (30) days' written notice without payment of any termination fee.
8.6 Sole Remedy. Except as provided in Section 8.5, Service Credits are Customer's sole remedy...
You asked
If they keep missing the uptime target, can we get out of the contract?
Yes. If availability drops below 99.0% in any three months within a rolling twelve, you can terminate on 30 days' notice with no termination fee. Otherwise, service credits are your only remedy.

Service credit cap
What is the most the provider owes in service credits in a month?
15% of fees
Flagged for review.
“Supplier's aggregate liability shall not exceed fifteen percent (15%) of the fees paid”
Cobalt_IT_Services_SOW.pdf, page 14
Why it was flagged: This quote caps total liability, not service credits. The credit terms in Schedule C may set a different cap.

Akraeus Grid
Included with Team
Put the same questions to a stack of contracts. Every cell is an answer with its quote — checked, and flagged when it needs a second look.
- Up to 25 documents and 10 questions in a grid
- Templates for vendor contracts, SLAs, leases and policies
- Verify or correct any cell, then export to Excel with its sources
How it works
Three steps, and you can check every one of them.
Upload your documents
PDFs with selectable text — a single policy, or a whole folder of contracts. Keep them organized in folders, shared with your team on Team.
Ask, or build a grid
Ask a question in your own words, across up to 5 documents. Or pick a Grid template and put the same questions to up to 25 documents at once.
Check the source
Every answer links to the passage it came from. In Grid, flagged cells tell you where to look first, and the table exports to Excel with its sources.
Accuracy
Why you can trust the answer.
Generating an answer is easy. The work is in showing it's right — and saying so when it might not be.
95%
of Grid answers right on 20 public distributor contracts — and 2 answers in 187 wrong without a flag.
- 178 right
- 5 wrong, but flagged for review
- 2 said “not stated” when the answer was there
- 2 wrong, without a flag
Cited to the line
Answers link to the pages that support them, and the passage is highlighted in the original PDF when it can be located precisely.
Quotes that really exist
In Grid, every answer has to quote its document. If the quote can't be found in the text, the answer isn't shown as answered.
A second, independent check
A separate check reads the quote and asks whether it truly supports the answer. When it doesn't, the cell is flagged with the reason.
“Not stated” instead of a guess
When a document doesn't answer the question, Akraeus says so. Gaps are findings too.
People sign off
Verify a cell or correct it with a note. Re-runs keep your reviews, and each cell keeps a history of who changed what.
And your documents stay yours.
Not used for model training
Your documents, questions, and answers are used to provide the service — not to train AI models.
Encrypted by default
Documents are encrypted in transit and encrypted at rest in Google Cloud services.
You stay in control
Delete documents and their associated conversations from your account when you no longer need them.
Who it's for
Built for the teams who have to answer for documents.
Knowing the answer isn't enough when someone else has to accept it. These teams need to point at the line.

Questions
Questions to answer before your first upload.
Is this legal or medical advice?+
No. Akraeus explains what a document says and links its answers to supporting source pages, with precise passage highlighting when available. For decisions with real stakes — an eviction, a denied claim you're appealing, a contract you're about to sign — treat this as a first, clarifying step before talking to a professional.
What happens to the documents I upload?+
They're processed and stored to provide the service, including answering your questions, and aren't used to train AI models. You can delete a document and its associated conversations from your account at any time.
Which document formats work?+
PDF files up to 25MB. Starter supports up to 100 pages per PDF; Plus, Pro, and Team support up to 250 pages per PDF. The text has to be selectable — if you can highlight it in a PDF reader, Akraeus can read it. Scanned or photographed pages aren't supported yet, because there's no text in them to quote.
How does pricing work?+
Two things count: pages, when you upload a document, and questions, when you ask one. Starter is a one-time $5 purchase for 100 pages and 100 questions that remain available until used — no subscription. Plus, Pro, and Team refresh both monthly allowances at each renewal. Unused monthly allowances do not roll over. Every plan, Starter included, can buy extra pages or questions as one-time add-ons; those purchased balances remain available until used and are used after the monthly allowance.
Can I use this for someone else's document, or for my team?+
You may upload a document that you have the legal right or necessary permission to process. Plus is for one user. Pro supports up to three people sharing one fixed allowance and one flat subscription price. Team supports up to 10 paid seats with shared folders and documents, and every Team seat adds 3,000 pages and 2,000 questions to the organization's pooled monthly allowance.
How does Team billing work?+
Team costs $39 per active seat per month. If you upgrade an organization that already has members, each existing member becomes a paid Team seat; the confirmation shows the seat count and total before checkout. Every seat adds 3,000 pages and 2,000 questions to one pooled monthly allowance, rather than creating a separate allowance for each person.
What happens when I upgrade or downgrade?+
When you move from Starter to a subscription, unused Starter pages and questions carry forward as purchased balances, and the new plan receives its full monthly allowance. Subscription upgrades take effect after checkout. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal and require the organization to fit the lower plan's limits; for example, Team can move to Pro only with no more than 3 members and 500 stored documents. Unused monthly allowance expires at renewal, while purchased balances remain available until used.
What is Akraeus Grid?+
Grid asks the same questions of many documents at once and lays the answers out as a table: documents in the rows, questions in the columns. Every answer cites the page it came from and is checked; answers that need a second look are flagged with the reason, and you can verify or correct any cell before exporting to Excel. Grid is included with the Team plan, for up to 25 documents and 10 questions per grid.
How does Grid count against my questions?+
Each answered cell uses one question from your allowance, the same as asking it in a conversation, so a grid of 25 documents and 10 questions uses 250. Grid shows the count before it runs, and running it again only asks the cells whose document or question changed.
What if Akraeus gets something wrong?+
Answers are designed to include citations to the pages that support them, so you can check the source instead of taking the answer on faith. If an answer has no citation, or doesn't match the cited passage, don't rely on it. You can also re-run an answer if it reads wrong. In Grid, answers that need a second look are flagged with the reason, and you can verify or correct any cell.
